How subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds work — stated plainly and applied the same way to every client.
Effective August 27, 2026.
Provision Grant Co. subscriptions (Steward, Growth, and Anchor) run on a twelve (12) month term from the date you subscribe. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.
You may cancel a subscription at the end of its current term by giving thirty (30) days' written notice before the term ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term. We do not issue a partial refund for a billing period that has already begun — the month you're in is paid in full regardless of when in the month you cancel.
If you end a subscription before the end of its twelve-month term, the remaining subscription fees for the rest of that term become due immediately. Any work Provision has already delivered during the term — reports, briefs, drafted applications — is fully earned at the time of delivery and is not credited or refunded, whether or not you continue the subscription.
This mirrors the term already set out in your Client Services Agreement; where the two documents overlap, your signed agreement governs.
À la carte application fees (Letters of Inquiry, standard applications, and major or federal applications) are due before drafting begins. Once drafting has started, the fee becomes non-refundable — the completed draft, not the funder's decision, is the deliverable you're paying for.
Grant awards are decided by funders, not by Provision. Our fees are for the research and writing work performed, and are never contingent on whether a funder approves, declines, or never responds to an application. We don't offer refunds, discounts, or credits based on funding outcomes, and we don't accept payment structured as a percentage of any award.
If you're charged twice for the same invoice, charged after a subscription was already cancelled, or charged in error for any other reason, we will refund the erroneous charge in full. Email us as soon as you notice it — see "How to Request" below.
If you'd rather see the work before committing to a subscription, you can purchase a single Letter of Inquiry at the standard rate ($400) with no subscription required. If you subscribe to any tier within ninety (90) days of that letter's delivery, the $400 is credited in full against your first month of subscription fees.
This credit is single-use, is not redeemable for cash, and expires ninety (90) days after the letter is delivered if no subscription has started by then.
Your first Funding Discovery Report is free and involves no payment of any kind. If it doesn't identify at least three verified, eligible grant opportunities for your organization, you owe nothing and no invoice is sent. Full mechanics are posted at /guarantee/.
Email nick@provisiongrantco.com with your organization's name and the invoice or charge in question. We aim to respond within ten (10) business days. For a billing error under "Billing Errors" above, we'll process the refund as soon as it's confirmed. For subscription cancellation, thirty (30) days' written notice by email satisfies the notice requirement above.
